Clips

These are motion-capture clips from VRoid’s free VRMA pack. Press one in the Workshop, or ask her: “dance for me”, “do a spin”. Dance loops until you press Stop, tap the floor, or pick her up. A clip drives her body only, so she can still talk and blink while dancing.

Gestures and moods

Gestures (wave, cheer, nod, shake, bow, peace) are short and blend over whatever she is doing. Moods change her face and how she stands: excited bounces, shy looks away, thinking looks up.

When she talks, she picks these herself. Every reply starts with a mood tag and may carry one gesture tag, which the page strips out before showing or speaking the line.

What is always running

• Breathing and a slow sway.
• Blinking at random intervals, with the odd double blink.
• Eyes and head following the camera and your cursor.
• Lip sync: loudness opens her mouth and the balance of the sound picks the vowel shape.
• Hair and clothes physics.
